Collaboration
The Industrial Information and Control Centre
(I2C2) will combine the strengths of two key
institutions namely the two local universities, The University of
Auckland and Auckland University of Technology.
I2C2 also has strong academic and research collaboration with the
Light Metals Research Centre (LMRC) at the University of Auckland
who complement our activities in the global light metals sector. We
also have a strong academic collaboration with the
Engineering Research
Institute (ERI) at AUT University.
I2C2 also has a strong steering group of predominately industrial
partners, including representatives from Beca, Custom Controls and
Fonterra. Recent and current collaboration partners include Bell
Tea, Fonterra, the New Zealand Refining Company, New Zealand Steel,
Tamaki Control and WaterCare Services. The number of collaborated
partners continues to grow.
When working on commercial projects we also work closely with the Universities commercial arms, AUT Enterprises and UniServices.
